Show number 995 – the 1000th episode looms closer still. It’s the Covid Special this week, as both Xavier and Hedgie have the Covid, whereas TK does not, so he gets to be in the studio while everyone else dials in from their respective bedrooms. That said, things went as well as could be expected, with the Review of the Week being Tales from the Plague Pit. A couple of Jackbox games happened with both Quiplash 3 and Fibbage 3 being played. Plus the second track sent to the show last week, which is always nice to have.
Show number 994 – the 1000th episode draws ever closer. Hedgie is away again this week, so Xavier and TK get to hog the limelight once more. So conversations about lights, makeup, when Episode 1000 will be, and being ill ensue, as well as a couple of Jackbox games with both Quiplash 3 and Fibbage 3 being enjoyed. Plus some new music to start the show with which had been submitted to the show, which is always appreciated.
Show number 993 – another tick down on the countdown to the 1000th episode. The madness continues as TK has a bottle of wine, Xavier is on the whiskey and Coke, and Hedgie is… Hedgie is still on his powdered drinky thing. TK proceeds to consume the entire bottle throughout the show, which in retrospect was probably not a good idea. Didn’t stop a couple of Jackbox games, with Quiplash 3 and Split the Room being enjoyed. A long song to start hides the chaos behind the scenes in order to get the show out roughly on time. Still, a good show overall.
Show number 992 – the countdown to 1000 is well underway. In this week’s episode, the crew are reunited for another show of chaos. Conversations range from the table top Role Play that Xavier and TK to, to things than can be done in D&D 5e. Two games of Jackbox happened, with Fibbage 3 and Mad Verse City (which yielded some interesting raps). Xavier tackles a Done and Dusted before a conversation about South Park happens. A full and fun show.
Xavier is away being ill this week, so TK and Hedgie host a throwback to Season 1 show, with just the pair of them on camera for the first time in a long time. This inspires much conversation and a fair amount of silliness between the pair. TK has some time off coming up and Hedgie is on a new shift rota, so it’s all to play for. Plus Hedgie has a thing to say about polyester clothing… 2 Jackbox games were played, including a full Fibbage 3 lobby, and a healthy size Bracketeering game. There was even time for Hedgie to plug his escape room, and get some Done and Dusted in. All in all, a good, fun retro show.
A full studio again as Hedgie returns after a week of work. TK and Xavier are also here, after having rather busy weeks. There was talk of animé, food thieves, and BBQ memories (so much meat!). Perfect for the sunny weather. Two rounds of Bracketeering were played this week, and everyone had input for Done and Dusted this week, which makes a nice change. Things even over ran, which is rare but not unwelcome.
As is the norm for this season, TK is joined by a Hedgie and a Xavier for this episode. The episode which broke the website for some reason – or that was more to do with WordPress messing about with widgets which seemed to cause all the errors for no good reason. One quick plugin installation later and it is fixed. This episode sees the preview of a new song from the wonderful Jake Aldridge, as well as a trio of Jackbox fun, with Split the Room, Guesspionage, and Trivia Murder Party. Plus an added bonus of not one but TWO things for Done and Dusted in an unofficial Animé special of the segment.
A full studio and some full Jackbox rooms tonight, as TK is joined by Xavier and Hedgie once more for a rather filled show of fun and frolics. TK shows off his beer purchases, Xavier spoils things for Hedgie, and Hedgie… is Hedgie. 2 games were enjoyed, both with full rooms. Quiplash 3 and Fibbage 3 were played, and Xavier ends the show with something good for Done and Dusted. All in all, a good, fun show.
Hedgie returns and brings his unique flavour of madness back into the studio, to sit alongside Xavier on the sofa as TK hides in his booth as usual (probably the safest place to be). A show that starts on time for once, and features all the usual segments with 3 games of Jackbox fun, including a game of Blather Round, and 2 whole games of Trivia Murder Party 2 in a rare moment of the game actually working. Xavier then manages to end the show on time by not overrunning with his Done and Dusted entry, much to TK’s surprise.
